Blue 449 Snares Pernod Ricard Media Account From Vizeum

Blue 449 has announced it has been appointed to handle Pernod Ricard Australia’s media planning and buying activities following a four-way competitive pitch against Atomic 212°, Maxus and incumbent Vizeum.

Pernod Ricard Australia is a major player in the wine, spirits and champagne market, representing a distinguished portfolio of premium brands including Jacob’s Creek, Stoneleigh, Absolut, Chivas Regal, Jameson and Mumm.

Billings for the media account are undisclosed.

Anne Martin, marketing director at Pernod Ricard Australia, said: “We had the opportunity to see some strong thinking from a number of leading media agencies, but were most excited by Blue 449.

“They have demonstrated a data inspired understanding of our business, creative strategic thinking and implementation rigour, married to a transparent way of working.”
