UM Boss Ross Raeburn Exits To Become Ansible’s New CEO

IPG Mediabrands Australia has announced senior leadership developments within the group, with UM Australia CEO Ross Raeburn (pictured) to become boss of Mediabrands’ mobility solutions business, Ansible.

Raeburn will move to his Ansible leadership role in July, at which time Bass will become interim leader for UM as the agency prepares to name a new CEO.

Bass said placing an executive of Raeburn’s calibre in charge of Ansible is a true measure of the important role Ansible plays in the Mediabrands business and its future potential.

“As clients innovate towards opportunities to better connect with people, mobility is one of the highest priorities and is also where Ansible drives effective change,” he said.

“Ross’ career pedigree and passion has been in digital and mobile, having led Soap Creative until he joined Mediabrands two years ago.”

“I am very much looking forward to continuing a close working relationship with Ross as he prepares to transition from UM to Ansible.”

Raeburn said he “couldn’t be prouder” of what he helped achieve at UM over the past couple of years.

“I’m excited to now join the Ansible team and continue working with incredible brands and progressive marketers to develop genuinely valued and relevant consumer experiences,” he said.

“Ansible’s culture of innovation and dedication to develop its own products and IP will remain a key area of focus.”
