Time To Dust Off The Best Work In The Bottom Drawer… AMYs Close Friday!

The AMY Awards has just announced a new category: The Best Work in the Bottom Drawer.

The category recognises the digital brilliance of concepts that never saw the light of day (despite how killer they may have been). This includes work for a client and covers campaigns, new technology or an application. Entries to this category will need to highlight why the work was exceptional yet wasn’t created.

It’s time to revisit those prized proposals that never made it off the cutting room floor and finally get them the recognition they deserve!

Entries to the AMY Awards are open right now and have been extended until Friday 31 March. Click here to submit your work.

The AMYs celebrate the work of the Australian digital industry, rewarding digital brilliance and honouring the work and people in digital creative, content, services and applications.

Entry categories for the AMYs are broken down by industry verticals, with 41 in total recognising all types of digital brilliance. Major categories include:

Campaigns:

  • Best Digitally Led Campaign
  • Best Social or Content Led Marketing Campaign
  • Best ‘Social Good’ Campaign

Products and applications:

  • Best Website or Online Service
  • Best Smartphone or Table Application
  • Best use of Emerging Technology

Special:

  • Grand Prix
  • Hall of Fame
  • Digital Person of the Year
  • Best Digital Team
  • Best Digital Start-Up
  • Best Student Entry
  • The Work in the Bottom Drawer (NEW)
