Skeletor Dances To Fame In Bonkers Ad For Money Comparison Site

A financial comparison ad is proving every nerdy Millennial’s wet dream after it reprised 80s cartoon Masters of the Universe characters dancing to the theme song from Fame.

The ad for MoneySuperMarket, a UK financial-comparison site that compares things like insurance and bank rates, uses seminal 80s villain Skeletor and hero He-Man. But instead of chucking lightning bolts at one another, the two enemies appear to want a far more ‘with the times’ dance-off. Check out the craziness below:

The ad is the work of London agency Mother and is part of MoneySuperMarket “epic” brand campaign. Another iteration of the campaign (below) was the now famous “Dave’s Strut” that had a man dancing down a London high street in stilettos and hot pants. It garnered the dubious honour of being the UK’s most complained about ad in 2015.
