Russel Howcroft Resigns As Enero Director

He’s soon to be Ten’s former executive GM, and ad guru Russel Howcroft has now had enough being on Enero’s board.

The marketing and communications holding company revealed in a statement to shareholders that Howcroft has stepped down as director to pursue other interests.

Enero Group chairman John Porter wished Russ all the best for his future endavours.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Russel for his contribution to the board over the past two years,” he said.

Howcroft announced in December last year that he was quitting as executive general manager at Network Ten to join consulting giant PwC in the newly-created role of chief creative officer.

Replacing Howcroft at Enero will be Anouk Darling, who will act as a non-executive independent director.

Darling is currently a board member of Macquarie Telecom Limited and Discover Holiday Parks. She was also previously chair of Moon Communications Group.

Enero CEO Matthew Melhuish said Darling brings a wealth of experience from within the advertising, marketing and communications industries, and is well-respected across them.

“She has a great strategic mind, has run a very successful agency and has worked globally with some of the world’s most recognised brands,” he said.
