Rubicon Project Gets EDAA Trust Seal Of Approval

Rubicon Project which operates independent real-time trading platforms for the buying and selling of advertising, has received the EDAA Trust Seal from independent industry Certification Provider ABC.

The award of the Trust Seal demonstrates Rubicon Project’s compliance in accordance with the EU Self-Regulatory Programme for Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA).  Earning the Trust Seal is the important last step in the process for third parties committed to the self-regulatory programme.

With specially engineered hardware to enable low latency trading, Rubicon Project’s Advertising Automation Cloud currently processes 2.5 million queries per second and trillions of bid requests each month on behalf of the world’s leading publishers and applications and the top brands around the globe.

Oli Whitten, senior vice president Europe, Rubicon Project said: “Since day one Rubicon Project has always been committed to meeting and exceeding the standards for digital advertising.  The EDAA helps consumers to have transparency and control which is an important aspect in the provision of our platform to buyers and sellers alike across Europe and we are pleased to be the first exchange platform to have successfully undertaken the audit and received the seal.”

Jan Pitt, executive director of client services at ABC said: “We are delighted to issue the EDAA Trust Seal to Rubicon Project having provided them with a robust and independent certification service.  Through this certification, Rubicon Project has demonstrated both their expertise and commitment to working to industry agreed standards. Independent certification helps to raise standards across the industry and will provide Rubicon Project clients greater confidence in their systems and processes.”
