The deal with MLBAM allows PERFORM to offer advertisers a range of commercial opportunities through display and video. Across Australia, the average monthly unique visitors to MLB.com has doubled compared to 2013.

The agreement follows a time of unprecedented interest across MLB.com within the country, including during this year’s successful Opening Series held in Sydney, featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.

James Peel, Director of Sales for Asia-Pacific, PERFORM, added: “We are very excited about this strategic partnership that leverages the current interest in baseball locally. PERFORM has a track record of delivering innovative solutions across premium sports content and we look forward to enabling advertisers to benefit from the high levels of interest in the MLB.”

Alexander Pigeon, Vice President, International, MLB Advanced Media, commented: “We are excited about our new partnership with PERFORM, which will allow us to deliver targeted and relevant local media advertising to Australia-based Major League Baseball fans who visit MLB.com.”
