Pantene Ends Instagram Search For New Ad Campaign Star

Following in the footsteps of global ambassadors Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Gisele Bundchen, 23-year-old Sydneysider Melissa Hurwitz Has taken top spot in Pantene’s nationwide Instagram search for the star of its new advertising campaign.

Pantene’s #TrainYourHairStrong campaign celebrates strong Australian women and follows the recent launch of the brand’s new SMART Pro-Vitamin Formula.

Hurwitz was selected from a flood of entries after posting her version of Pantene’s iconic hair knot and sharing what makes her strong.

She captioned the image of her impressive hair knot with: “My family make me strong, through all they have taught me about kindness and resilience.”

On winning the #TrainYourHairStrong competition, the community manager and part-time graphic designer said: “It’s been a lifelong goal to be in a Pantene campaign, so it really means a lot”.

The national campaign will roll out from July, starting in shopping centres across Sydney and Melbourne.
