Oporto Embraces Portuguese Heritage In New Campaign

For the first time in their 30-year history, Oporto has launched a brand campaign that celebrates the foundation of the restaurant chain – Portugal.

Focused on capturing the authenticity of life in Portugal, the Oporto team spent a week in the European country to produce a range of content including film, photography and 360-degree footage.

Oporto’s head of marketing, Vanessa Rowed, said the fast food chain is serious about sharing the authenticity of the brand.

“Shooting in Portugal was therefore the perfect location for us to capture content for our new brand campaign,” she said.

Being in Portugal enabled us to immerse ourselves in the culture that Antonio [Cerqueira] brought with him all those years ago. It was worth the investment because now, not only do we have incredible content to share across a variety of channels, we also have a pipeline of innovative new products.”

Footage and imagery will be rolled out as the brand campaign across digital & social channels as well as cinema, TV and maybe even in the street.
