OMD Appoints Nathan Young As Business And Marketing Director

OMD has announced the appointment of media and marketing specialist Nathan Young to the position of business development and marketing director for OMD Australia.

Young joins OMD from Authentic Entertainment (formally MCM Media). Young has more than 16 years’ industry experience, starting his media career with Universal McCann where he reached the position of investment manager before leaving to join MCM Media, where over nine years across various roles including general manager sales operations he saw the company double in size and extend it’s national footprint.

“Nathan brings a great a wealth of experience in content marketing and business development” said Peter Horgan, CEO OMD Australia. “We are excited to secure a high performance talent like Nathan for this integral company role. He is connected and respected across the industry, and his values and working style are a great cultural fit for OMD”.

Young said of his appointment: “OMD has an outstanding reputation in market with its capabilities never being stronger. It’s an exciting time to be joining the business. It’s great to be back in agency land with OMD!”.

Young will report to Peter Horgan, his appointment is effective Thursday 5th March.
