Ads For Paralympic Games Labelled Some Of The Best Ever

We love nothing more than a great campaign at B&T, and the TVC for British broadcaster Channel 4’s Paralympic broadcast is an absolute corker.

Titled “We’re The Superhumans”, the spot goes for almost three-and-a-half minutes and has had over six million online views since it launched six weeks ago. Check the ad out, all set to Sammy Davis Jr’s Yes I Can, here.

The ad was created by Channel 4’s in-house creative team and directed by Blink Productions’ Dougal Wilson. It features a cast of  140 disabled people – including a number of British Paralympic athletes and musicians.

Again in the UK – they Poms leaving everyone for dead, it would appear – Maltesers has launched a campaign featuring two deaf women signing over a bag of its chocolatey balls. The ad won a competition by Channel Four which lands it free advertising during the duration of the Paralympics as its prize.

Tech firm Samsung has also continued with the Olympic spots it did with British comic Jack Whitehall and has just launched a follow-up spot for the Paralympics featuring, again, featuring British athletes.
