Following his commitment to achieving outstanding client results, The Monkeys has announced the promotion of planning director Michael Hogg to the role of head of planning.

During his time at The Monkeys, Hogg has helped bring Australians together over lamb with his work on MLA’s ‘You Never Lamb Alone’ campaign, taking home four Gold Effies (including the Grand Prix).

Previously working as a senior planner at Fallon in London, Hogg joined The Monkeys four years ago and was drawn to the agency’s willingness to stand behind bold creative thinking to achieve effective business results.

“I was attracted to the agency’s belief,” he said. “Everyone at the agency, along with our clients and partners, share the belief that creativity can create a better culture and transform business. That is increasingly rare.”

Fabio Buresti, partner and executive planning director at The Monkeys, said the agency scored big time when it appointed Hogg.

“He’s not just a brilliant strategist – he’s also an absolute legend and loved by everyone he works with. The whole agency is thrilled for him,” Buresti said.

Hogg’s promotion is effective immediately.
