Recreational vehicle manufacturer BRP has announced the appointment of MediaCom to implement communications planning and activation for its Sea-Doo brand and dealerships across Australia and New Zealand.
After a competitive pitch with the incumbent agency, MediaCom was awarded the business based on its breadth of services and benefits of efficiency through scale.
Matthew Ng, BRP’s marketing manager for the Asia-Pacific region, said: “Despite a strong, established leadership position in powersports across Asia Pacific, BRP continues to grow extremely fast year-on-year.
“As such, MediaCom are well positioned to support this growth, starting with our watercraft brand, Sea-Doo, in Australia and New Zealand this season.
“Innovation and passion are at the heart of our business, and this fits well with MediaCom’s approach in how they help their clients develop a fully-connected marketing strategy.”
MediaCom Austrealia CEO Sean Seamer said: “Adding an exciting and powerful brand like Sea-Doo, along with its portfolio of recreational and powersport vehicles will allow us to further demonstrate our ability in using data to drive effective sales results for BRP.
“I’m thrilled that our team will be working on such an exciting client.”
Adele Burke, business lead at MediaCom, added: “We are delighted to have such a fast growing and exciting brand like BRP join our team.
“They’ve already proven over the last couple of years the power data has in driving their business, and with our expertise in this space, we will not only supercharge their targeting and efficiency abilities, but also propel them into a space that will begin to drive powerful connections with audiences.”
MediaCom’s appointment is effective from Tuesday 1 August.
