Leo’s Sydney Announces Creative Partnership With TEDxSydney

Leo Burnett Sydney has announced that it is creative partner to TEDxSydney 2017, the leading platform for sharing and growing Australian ideas, innovation and creativity with the power to change attitudes, lives, and, ultimately, the world.

The partnership sees Leo Burnett providing strategic communications expertise to TEDxSydney’s brand and the development and execution of the creative campaign for the change-making event under this year’s ‘Unconventional’ theme.

Now more than ever, with the world at an unprecedented crossroad of identity, the need for action is vitally important. Together with TEDxSydney, Leo Burnett is committed to providing change-makers with a stage to assist in their success and growth into the future, while giving people an opportunity to engage with this positive change in action.

Pete Bosilkovski, CEO Leo Burnett Sydney said: “We are excited to be partnering with such a like-minded, progressive and empowering organisation as TEDxSydney. Our shared values and philosophies around bringing people together and driving positive change through embracing connected thinking, creativity and innovation makes this a very synergistic and powerful partnership.”

Stuart Buchanan, head of marketing TEDxSydney, added: “We’re thrilled to be able to partner with Leo Burnett Sydney for this year’s TEDxSydney. This year’s event is the biggest yet, and we wanted to make sure we had the best thinkers and creatives on our side as we moved through this exciting phase of growth. The team at Leo Burnett have been terrific to work with. Their strategic insights have already revitalised our thinking and helped shape our overall approach to the 2017 event. Their enthusiasm for the mission of TEDxSydney is refreshing and very infectious!”

TEDxSydney 2017 will be held at ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, on Friday 16 June.
