Leo Burnett Barnstorms To Top Spot For Creative Wins In January

Outgoing CEO Pete Bosilkovski appears to have left his agency, Leo Burnett, in a commendable position after it stormed to the top of R3’s monthly list for new creative business wins.

Leos came from as far back as 56th position to claim top spot for the month of January following wins that included Emirates Airlines, Sydney’s Barangaroo precinct and Caroma.

According to the monthly R3 data, DDB held onto the second spot, BBDO was up 56 spots to third, TBWA was up 18 spots to fourth and Havas Worldwide was up seven spots to round out the top five.

Clearly, the figures were impacted by the Christmas break, with M&C Saatchi soaring 54 spots from the previous month to claim sixth spot.

Isobar – who’d dominated the lists for much of the second half of 2017 – fell from first to tenth position.
