Instagram Introduces Carousel Ads For Stories

Facebook-owned photo sharing platform Instagram has introduced an update that allows businesses to publish up to three pieces of content in a Stories ad.

Previously, they could publish just one, and the update means businesses will now be able to tap into the same trends that are popular on Stories, including sequential storytelling, multimedia stories and thematic grouping.

The roll-out will begin with select clients globally, including Gap, Nordstorm, Lactogrow, Coca-Cola, and California Pizza Kitchen.

Instagram has also introduced ‘Type’ mode in Stories – a new way for users to share anything that’s on their mind with creative text styles and backgrounds, with no photo or video required.
