A billboard ad in the UK for a local gym is drawing criticism for fat shaming.
The ad, according to the BBC, was found in Derbyshire in England and suggested when aliens come they will take fat people first.
There’s been calls for the poster to be removed with the head of an anti-bullying charity telling the BBC it would cause further harm to people with weight issues.
Others have said the ad is “offensive” and that it should be “ripped down”.
The gym said it hadn’t meant any offense.
Meanwhile, in Thailand, a woman has used a billboard to advertise her virginity. However, according to British tabloid The Mirror, the woman was forced to remove the poster as it was considered “obscene”.
The 40-year-old woman had rented the space in Thailand to find a potential lover after allegedly failing to find dates through dating agencies.
The ad apparently says the woman’s age, name and phone number as well as: “Let me get it once before I die.”
Police told the woman to take it down.
