Frank PR New Kids On The Block, Winning H&R Block

Following a competitive pitch process, ideas-led agency, Frank PR, has been appointed on a retained basis by tax specialists, H&R Block.

The appointment of an award-winning PR partner comes as H&R Block aims to cement its established position by becoming the principal voice of authority on all tax related matters in Australia.

H&R Block has been part of the taxation landscape since 1971 and the appointment of Frank PR signals its determination to take a fresh approach, as it seeks to harness creativity and the power of social media to engage young and entrepreneurial audiences with its evolving brand and services.

Brodie Dixon, managing director of H&R Block, said, “Big changes are underway at H&R Block, including a program of transformation to modernise our retail operations.

“We’ll also deliver greater innovation to ensure we are responding to ever more sophisticated consumer needs and improve our offering to individuals with complex tax requirements, as well as emerging businesses. Frank PR, with its reputation for creativity, straight talking and innovation, has been brought on to help communicate those changes, loud and clear.”

Frank PR managing director, Polly Atherton, commented, “H&R Block is already a giant in the realm of taxation, having been a mainstay for 45-years. The challenge now is to stay fresh, relevant and top of mind.

“We can see from the plans that are already underway that H&R Block is facing off this challenge with confidence and creativity. We are delighted to be part of this journey of reform and reinvigoration. There are exciting times ahead.”
