Exponential Interactive, provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions, has hired Nicole Liebmann as mobile specialist for Australia and New Zealand.

Formerly with mobile payments and mobile marketing company, Mobile Embrace, Liebmann will lead revenue and operations in the region for Appsnack, Exponential’s mobile engagement division, which last month launched new video-enabled ad formats for delivery to global-scale audiences across mobile and tablet devices.

Exponential’s Appsnack sits alongside Adotube (in-stream video), Firefly Video (display engagement video) and Tribal Fusion (performance display) to offer a full suite of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions to brand advertisers.

Ben Maudsley, managing director, APAC for Exponential, said: “As the latest IAB Australia figures demonstrate, mobile advertising continues to enjoy amazing growth, now representing 21.5 percent of digital display revenue in the first quarter of 2014. Nicole will ensure that Exponential’s mobile offer delivers the most engaging creative experiences that enable brand advertisers to reach audiences in the region at scale across mobile and tablet.”

The mobile advertising opportunity across the region is significant and Exponential’s creative expertise combined with its unique data insights from its e-X platform should enable it to take further market share whilst continuing to drive campaign performance to the next level.”

Prior to joining Exponential, Nicole spent three years at mobile payments and mobile marketing company, Mobile Embrace, as an account manager responsible for publisher commercialisation strategies whilst also acting as the conduit between publishers and sales teams. Prior to that she spent a year at Network Ten as digital content commercialisation and integration executive and two years in a variety of roles working across Foxtel’s digital properties at MCN.

Liebmann will be based in Exponential’s Melbourne office.
