Domain Finds a New Home with The Works

Australia’s prominent destination for property seekers, Domain has appointed The Works as lead creative agency.

The Sydney-based independent won the account following a competitive pitch after an exhaustive search involving six other agencies and replaces incumbent Whybin TBWA.

The Works will manage creative innovation and strategy and will start effective immediately.

Domain is part of the Fairfax Media Network real estate portfolio and is one of Australia’s most recognised and trusted destinations for property seekers. Providing tools and information for buyers, sellers and renters Australia wide, Domain can be accessed online at Domain.com.au and in over 200 metropolitan, regional and community newspapers.

Douglas Nicol, creative partner of The Works said:“The Domain brand is undergoing an exciting chapter of its development and it’s excellent to be working with a client who has such strong market presence backed by great commercial drive.”

Matt Siddons, marketing director for Real Estate Fairfax Media added: “The Works demonstrated a thorough understanding of our business and what it will take to achieve our goals; they impressed us with their commitment towards creativity at the forefront of their thinking. We look forward to working with them to help further shape the Domain brand.”

The win follows a great year for The Works that has added major accounts wins including NRMA, Tetley, Sunbeam, Michelle Bridges and Keno.
