Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has appointed Matt Kemp to the role of senior planner.
Kemp joins the agency from Grey London where he was a senior planner leading global strategy and repositioning on Proctor & Gamble brand, Braun. Beyond his work on Braun, Matt has led strategy on The Sun and Times as part of WPP’s team news, alongside strategy development on a raft of new business wins including Emirates and Birds Eye.
Prior to Grey, Kemp worked as a digital strategist at POKE London, working on the launch of EE, the U.K’s biggest mobile network, Orange and Sky Bet.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne executive planning director, Paul Rees-Jones said, “In Matt we’ve found a rare strategic talent – his knack for analytical thinking combined with an ability to make the work better is something we’re looking forward to experiencing first-hand. Matt joins us as we continue to evolve the agency’s planning offering with broader skill sets and depth of talent.”
Kemp added, “It’s a privilege to join the team at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne. The agency’s body of work speaks for itself, and I can’t wait to make a humble contribution to more brilliant, effective advertising from the agency.”
