Campaign: No Nits November

A new national awareness month has been unveiled to combat the spread of head lice in Aussie kids.

‘No Nits November’, to be held during the month of November, is an awareness campaign to help both children and parents fully understand head lice, while also giving parents and kids the opportunity to win a $1,000 donation to their school library.

The PR agency behind the creative concept, Believe Advertising, built the campaign for Australian head lice treatment company NitWits, as a way to create awareness and buzz around the topic of head lice, while working across multiple print and digital platforms to achieve mass coverage for NitWits.

“I wanted to create a campaign for NitWits that would get Australian families talking about Head Lice awareness along with also having an innovative social media element. The $1000 donation to a school’s library gives the campaign a local focus that gets kids and families involved from a grass roots level,” says Believe Advertising’s director, Adrian Falk.

The campaign encourages parents to upload their kid’s wackiest hairstyle while tagging @NitWitsKid Facebook page and #nonitsnovember to be in the running to win the $1000 donation for their school library. Families that register their involvement here and receive a head lice information guide, a colouring and puzzle book and a Certificate of Participation for their child.
