Campaign: Nicole Trunfio for QVB

Shot by Nicole Bentley with stylist Mark Vassallo, the QVB’s new season campaign is equine style in high contrast.

Horse wrangling like a pro, model Nicole Trunfio strikes a commanding presence alongside jet black stallion Skipper, working crisp tailoring, clean white, monochrome stripes and dapper injections of navy from the QVB’s premium international and Australian retailers. Subtle equestrian touches of leather belting, riding boots and a collar cameo pin add traditional grace without diluting the contemporary appeal.

The second installment of the campaign edits the six most wanted trends for summer, taking a universally appealing approach to contemporary and simply beautiful dressing. Trunfio’s lively personality bursts from the shots as she plays up to the camera pulling faces, and dancing into one dynamic pose after another. While styling pulls its cues from the classics, the execution is entirely fresh with popping prints and bright hues offset by creamy pastel leather and metallic texture.

On working with Trunfio, Ipoh group marketing manager Taryn McGurk says: “After such a positive response to our first season with Nicole Trunfio from customers, it was the natural choice for us to continue with her as the face of the QVB for the whole year. She brought so much energy and commitment to the shoot, it was yet again apparent why she is one of Australia’s most successful models and the stunning campaign images speak for themselves.”
