Campaign: BLOKE Creates Steampunk Character For National Maritime Museum

If you’re in and around the Sydney foreshore this summer, you’ll probably run into Steampunk Lucy, BLOKE’s latest incarnation for the National Maritime Museum’s new exhibition Voyage to The Deep.

“The museum created a fantasy underworld exhibition inspired by Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues under the sea,” said Mike O’Rourke Creative Partner of BLOKE. “So we created a fully integrated campaign across almost every possible touch point featuring our much loved 3D character Lucy.”

“Since we engaged Bloke, we’ve seen our brand awareness increase particularly among the all-important family market,” says Jackson Pellow, Manager Brand & Marketing at the Museum.

“With Voyage to the Deep we hope to have a repeat of last year’s Vikings exhibition – which was our most successful ever. This summer we’re hoping even more families will come and ‘Dive In’ to this fantastic submarine adventure.”

The TVCs and key visuals were created with the help from the amazing team at Hackett Films.
