All Blacks Strip To Smalls For New Jockey Campaign

All Blacks Strip To Smalls For New Jockey Campaign

If the Wallabies are looking for some inspiration to finally beat the all-conquering All Blacks then this photo of half the squad in their jocks may well be it.

The campaign’s for underpants company Jockey and is part of an ongoing sponsorship deal the brand has with the world champion New Zealand team.

However, it’s not all buffed rah-rah players, as this year’s instalment also features an “average Joe” in the shape of Kiwi actor Will Hall.

Hall was enlisted into the “Real Man” campaign to show what the average bloke’s body looks like.

Jockey’s Australasian marketing manager Will Radford said of the campaign: “What we’ve done with the imagery of (All Blacks’ star) Dan Carter and the All Blacks is aspirational, and both males and females find it aspirational in terms of how they want to view the All Blacks and their bodies.

“The reality though is most guys don’t look quite like that so bringing in Will is great because he’s a typical Kiwi bloke which is exactly what we were after – we sell underwear for everyone and we make underwear for everyone to feel comfortable in.

“I think we have to evolve and just having an image of a model or an All Black static, we’re past that stage,” Radford said.
