“Bad Moms” Outdoor Leaves A Bad Taste In Politician’s Mouth

BAD MOMS

Federal member for Moreton, Queensland, Graham Perrett, is not happy about an outdoor advertising campaign for the new comedy Bad Moms which shows the three characters flipping the bird in the direction of the camera.

The film stars Mila Kunis, Kathryn Hahn and Kristen Bell as three overworked and under-appreciated mums who are pushed beyond their limits, they ditch their conventional responsibilities for a jolt of long overdue freedom, fun, and comedic self-indulgence. *trailer below*

Perrett is not having it though, he told The Brisbane Times that he feels the poster is inappropriate for young children and in very bad taste.

“It’s not appropriate for the public,” he said. “I do have young children, I have an idea of what’s appropriate and what’s inappropriate. This isn’t the internet, this isn’t television, these are public spaces I am talking about.”

Perret wants the Adshel who leased the outdoor advertising space and Roadshow Films who are behind the film to remove the advertising. “I would be very surprised if the outdoor media association would have signed off on this according to the guidelines,” he said. “This is yet another attempt by someone attempting to profit by shocking the family values of our community.”
