Aussie Luggage Company Forced To Pull “Misogynistic” Ad Featuring Naked Woman

Australian luggage firm Crumpler has been forced to pull its latest digital campaign after images of a naked woman drew complaints.

The rather oddball ad featured on social media and used a cartoon of a naked woman to advertise the company’s new clear plastic see-through luggage range.

The image featured a cartoon cut-out of a naked woman and the slogan, “Nothing to hide? Our Clear Vis-a-Vis will have you showing all your bits with pride.”

Apparently, Crumpler had been using the image on social media and its own website since early August but has since removed it following complaints it is misogynistic.

One angry customer tweeting: “Hey Crumpler, your advertising is so not cool. Like really really awful. What the hell are you even advertising here? Seriously?”
