The Athlete’s Foot Launches ‘Give A Fit’ This Back To School

Accent Group’s The Athlete’s Foot has revealed its 2019 Back to School campaign, telling Australian parents they really ‘give a fit’ when helping children get back to school with the perfect shoe.

The 30-second advert created by creative agency Two Tractors showcases salesperson ‘Dean’ at an unnamed shoe store ‘not giving a fit’ about the school shoes he is selling, with a voiceover stating the store Dean is working in claim to be fit experts during the back to school period.

The advert goes on to show a customer inside The Athletes Foot being served by one of their internal Fit Technicians, with the same voiceover saying The Athletes Foot ‘give a fit’.

Launched on January 2 this year, the campaign aims to reaffirm The Athletes Foot as the original and experienced fit experts in the market, despite many shoe retailers claiming the title during the back to school period.

Speaking on the campaign, The Athletes Foot head of marketing Deena Colman said: “At the Athletes Foot, we live and breathe the right fit.”

“The difference between us and other shoe retailers is the extensive training program our highly skilled Fit Technicians go through, as well as our exclusive MyFit technology that has over 4000 sensors to map out your foot from heel to toe alongside motion analysis.

“This combined with our expert fitting knowledge allows us to ensure every customer receives the perfect fit every time.

“We have been fit experts for over 40 years and felt that 2019 was a great time to develop a fun and creative campaign to break through the back to school noise and showcase that we are the original and the best,” Colman said.

The campaign will run across TV, radio, cinema, online and in-store.
