Advertising Advantage To Drive Marley Spoon’s TV Campaign

Meal kit delivery service Marley Spoon has appointed Advertising Advantage to deliver its first ever TV campaign on free-to-air and Foxtel in August and September.

The Sydney-based agency will deliver the below commercial for four weeks from 21 August 2016.

The campaign is the food tech start-up’s first foray into TV since launching in Sydney last year, and is in response to aggressive campaigns from competitors, according to a Marley Spoon spokesperson.

The service is designed to deliver sustainably-sourced, local produce to doorsteps with simple six-step recipes for dinners in 30 minutes.

“Its competitive advantage being choice of 12 brand new dishes each week,” the spokesperson said.

The company was originally founded by DeliveryHero CEO Fabian Segel in Germany before being established in Australia by brandsExclusive founder Rolf Weber and marketer Dave Malcolm.

Having launched in Sydney in June last year, the Marley Spoon now also services Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Wollongong and the NSW Central Coast.
