Ward6 takes a dose of pitch victory with Takeda

Independent advertising agency Ward6 has won a chunk of pharmaceutical company Takeda’s business following a three-way pitch.

The win for the Surry Hills based agency comes after Ward6’s Singapore office claimed Takeda as a foundation client in 2011.

Stuart Black, chief executive of Ward6, said: “They believe in treating their agencies as genuine partners and, given that they are poised for tremendous growth here over the next five years, that affords us a wonderful opportunity to do category-leading work.”

Adrian Dunstan, strategic marketing manager for Takeda Pharmaceuticals Australia, added: “Ward6 set the creative benchmark for healthcare in Australia. They impressed us with all elements of their offering during the pitch process and we’re delighted to be partnering with them.”

Takeda is Japan’s largest pharmaceutical company.
