Open Universities Australia pushes online TAFE

Open Universities Australia (OUA) is set to launch a new campaign to promote its growing online TAFE offering.

Through an integrated combination of TVCs, radio and digital advertising, the organization is stepping outside the academic box by introducing a comedic character called Gary who “epitomises the conversations people often have with themselves when they feel out of their depth and need to psyche themselves up,” OUA said.

Toni Cutler, director of brand communications and marketing at OUA, said the creative message behind the campaign is “Don’t just talk. Do. Study TAFE online with OUA”, prompting viewers to upskill so they can move forward with confidence in their jobs.
