M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has recruited Jamie Gilbert-Smith from Ensemble Melbourne as its new managing director.
The agency said Gilbert-Smith’s role will be to take it into a “new era” with a focus on “big, multi-channel ideas”.
Jaimes Leggett, CEO M&C Saatchi, said: “Jamie’s appointment represents a key moment in M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment’s evolution. The business has consistently driven programs that have delivered meaningful results for their clients since its inception in September 2009.”
“Jamie’s unique skillset and experience make him the ideal person to build on that and lead the business forward into an exciting new era.”
Gilbert-Smith (pictured) has 13 years marketing experience in London, Melbourne and Sydney under his belt and while at Ensemble he led the businesses on strategies for Kmart, Officeworks, Essendon Football Club, Origin Energy and more.
