ING Direct this morning created a giant human billboard of 750 people to spell out the $20bn paid each year in superannuation fees by Australians.
The campaign is set to highlight how average fees are $2,000, with older people paying as much as $6,000, according to new research.
The stunt, performed at North Sydney Oval, was organised by UM, the media agency for the brand.
Head of superannuation, Michael Christofides said, “Too many Australians are getting ripped off when it comes to the fees they’re paying on superannuation.
"Whether you're a member of a retail fund or an industry fund, you could well be paying more than you think."
