A new brand strategy is on the cards for V8 Supercars this year, courtesy of newly appointed agency Host.
Host has been appointed by V8 Supercars ahead of its 2014 season opener next week.
John Casey, V8 Supercars marketing director, said: “We needed an agency that was strategic, creative, responsive and as ambitious for our business as we are. Host had all the bases covered.”
Host will also create an integrated campaign for the sport.

The 2014 V8 Supercars season starts on February 15 at Sydney Motorsport Park ahead of the Championship opener the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide from February 27 to March 2.
The new season will introduce new race formats including Supersprint, Superstreet and Pirtek Enduro Cup, as well as night racing.
Volvo has also joined participating brands Ford, Holden, Nissan and Erebus Motorsport V8.
