Check in with your lungs

Make sure you check in with your lungs is the main message from the Lung Foundation Australia and Ward6 as they launch an integrated campaign on Sunday.

The campaign will cross a number of platforms, such as TV, print, posters, bus shelters, online, social media and public activities.

The campaign was created to drive traffic towards the Lung Foundation’s website to encourage people to check in with their lungs and make sure they’re okay.

“At least one in ten Australians has some form of lung disease. However, Lung Foundation Australia estimates the number to be significantly higher,” Heather Allan, Lung Foundation Australia’s director, marketing and health strategy, said.

Stuart Black, Ward6 CEO, added: “Most Australians are well aware of the importance of early detection tests such as those for prostate and breast cancer. Lungs, however, are often sadly overlooked. We’re proud to be putting this on the national agenda.”
