STW Group media agency Bohemia has scored a lucrative win by securing the $25 million media account for Quick Service Restaurants, the owner of the popular Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat brands.
Bohemia, who was awarded the business without a formal pitch, has been tasked with communications strategy, media planning and buying for all brands, including digital media and data analytics.
The account had been previously overseen by Aegis Media, firstly through its Mitchell & Partners brand then its sister agency Carat.
Brett Dawson (pictured), founder and managing partner at Bohemia, said: "This is exactly the type of multi-brand partnership Bohemia thrives on. Smart and passionate marketers looking to challenge the category status quo.
"Our focus will be on maximising return on marketing investment by marrying client transactional data with media data in real time and delivering break through television, digital and mobile ideas."
David Ovens, chief marketing pfficer at Quick Service Restaurants, added: “We are really impressed with Bohemia’s strategy, vision and passion to help our brands prosper in the multichannel world we live in. Their commitment to delivering results week by week, driving strong analytical capability and at the same time having an eye for the future is entirely complementary to our goals at QSRH."
The win follows a series of new business for Bohemia including Vodafone, Travel Insurance Direct, The Travel Corporation and Aspen Pharmaceuticals.
In March, Bohemia came out to flatly deny that it intends to enter a merger with Ikon.
