Coles ‘Down Down’ campaign continues with the latest iteration featuring some of Australia’s most popular household brands including Vegemite, Old El Paso, Milo and Kellogg’s Cornflakes.

And just as perennial as the campaign, the aging rockers of Status Quo are singing their special “Whatever you need” tune. Popular brands including Old El Paso, Vegemite, Milo and Kellogg’s Cornflakes receive their own version of the song in the amusing TVC.

The commitment from mainstream brands is no little thing, as all participating brands and the subsequent price drops, must remain in place for a minimum of six months.

Coles merchandise director, John Durkan said: “Australian customers want lower prices, but do not want to sacrifice their favourite big brands. It has been fantastic to work with these great suppliers, who like us are looking to deliver even more value to Australian customers every day.”
