Bengar Films unlocks Fort Knox’s stories

Melbourne’s Bengar Films is behind three new lighthearted spots for self-storage firm Fort Knox.

The first spot, ‘Mannequin’, launched yesterday on Channel 10. All three ads tap into the emotional attachment people have to their prized possessions.

Guy Wilson, general manager of Fort Knox, said: “We asked Bengar for creative to address the top five reasons why people need to store at Fort Knox. As you can imagine, it isn’t the most exciting industry and can often be difficult to market and appeal to our audience.”

The spots show crowded courtrooms and owners’ possessions being sentenced to self-storage for a period of time.

Ben Gartland, from Bengar, added: “We set out to show audiences that Fort Knox understands it is sometimes difficult to part with much-loved possessions and we’ve tried to do it in a way that makes people smile.”

The other two spots feature a favourite surfboard and a much-loved rocking horse. View the spots on the Bengar Films website.
