Audi puts ad account out to pitch

EXCLUSIVE: Luxury car brand Audi has launched a pitch for its advertising account.

B&T can reveal that Audi Australia is currently undertaking a review of its advertising agency partnership, in what the brand says is "to ensure that Audi has the most suitable agency partner for the company’s next phase of growth”.

A shortlist of selected agencies, including the incumbent Rapp, have been invited to pitch.

Audi confirmed that the review, which is being managed by Trinity P3, does not affect Audi’s media or digital relationships.

The brand also confirmed the process has been underway for some weeks, and no further agencies are being considered.

Last October Audi appointed Holler as its digital agency following a three-month pitch process with four agencies.
