All-seeing eye will be watching Sydney NYE 2013

The theme for the 2013 Sydney New Year’s Eve will be ‘Shine’, with local artist Reg Mombassa as the creative ambassador.

Details of the event, along with a creative concept – the all-seeing eye, have been unveiled by Imagination, the agency which is behind the event.

Mombassa is best known as a founding member of Australian band Mental as Anything, as well as for his graphic designs for surf brand Mambo.

Imagination is already working closely with Mombassa to create the Sydney Harbour event, working on everything from the event theme, design and marketing, though to all the live aspects including musical elements, fireworks’ soundtrack and the Sydney Harbour Bridge effect.

All the collateral will be developed from Mombassa’s (pictured left) signature style and his all-seeing, ever-sparkling eye logo, which is revealed today.

Imagination won the Sydney NYE creative account as a three-year contract in 2011. The account is currently out to tender.
