50 Cent Gets “All The Bling Without The Sting” In New Spot For Hostelworld

50 Cent Gets “All The Bling Without The Sting” In New Spot For Hostelworld

50 Cent may have declared bankruptcy but in this new spot for Hostelworld, he shows us how he’s keeping up his glamorous lifestyle while saving himself some coin.

Poking fun at the television series, MTV Cribs, which profiles lavish celeb homes and featured the man himself back in 2007, 50 Cent gives viewers a tour of a hostel in Barcelona.

The ad opens with 50 Cent welcoming the audience into the hostel, and continues to follow the format of a usual MTV Cribs episode, with comprehensive room tours, side comments to his buddies, replay shots and gangsta music in the background.

At the end of the spot, 50 Cent tells viewers, “Get outta here, go meet the world”, with the campaign promising, in sparkly writing, “All the bling without the sting”.

Check it out:

The three-minute spot was created by London agency Lucky Generals, with is part of Hostelworld’s larger campaign, “Meet the World”.

“50 Cent is used to living in the lap of luxury, so who better to communicate the simple fact that modern hostels have changed beyond belief over the years, than 50 himself,” founder of Lucky Generals Danny Brooke-Taylor said in a statement.

The parody ad suitably finishes up “in da club”, aka the hostel bar.
